The Cancer Biology Research Center, CBRC, offers travel grants of up to $500 each, partially supporting active participation in international conferences, workshops, or courses.
Tel Aviv University students, post-doctoral fellows, medical students, residents, and research associates are invited to submit applications.
Grants are offered only to cover active participation in meetings relevant to cancer research held abroad until June 30th, 2024. The entitlement may be exercised for up to six months from receiving our notice regarding the requested meeting abroad.
Depending on the number of applications submitted, grants may be limited to 1 student per meeting and/or lab.
Only students who did not receive CBRC travel grants in the last 2 years can apply.
Applicants should submit:
- CV (short) - NIH style - up to 3 pages
- Letter of recommendation from the supervisor - up to one page.
- Research Abstract as submitted to the meeting (including title, authors, and affiliations) - up to one page.
- Details of the conference, workshop, or course (including date and location).
Applications not conforming to the requested format will not be considered.
Deadline for submission of applications: 31.12.2023

Submission mail should include in the subject line: "CBRC Travel grants 2024 - Name of applicant"
Requests will be reviewed in early January 2024, but travel grants will be provided only after receipt of a written invitation to actively participate (poster or a lecture) at a conference, or attend a workshop or course.
