Dr. Danny Moran Travel Grant Scholarship

2019-2020 - Call for Applications

The scholarship was founded in 2007 by Aviva and Ephraim Marinanski, and Mirit Rabinowitz, to commemorate the memory of their son, her brother, Dr. Danny Moran, who died in 1997 after illness, at the age of 34. Danny was a pediatrician at the Dana Hospital in Tel Aviv, who completed his doctoral studies in the Department of Cell and Immunology at the Faculty of Life Sciences of Tel Aviv University.

This year, one scholarship, for 4000 NIS, will be awarded to a PhD student and / or a post doctorate student from Tel Aviv University in the field of cancer research or genetic disease, whose work has been accepted and presented at an international professional conference as a lecture or a  poster.

The scholarship is intended to cover the expenses of attending the conference.

The selection committee will receive the requests through the secretariat of the Cell and Immunology Department.

Applicants must submit:

• Abstract as sent to the conference and accepted for lecture or poster
• The conference program proving that the applicant has given / gives a lecture or presents a poster
• CV
