The Cancer Biology Research Center (CBRC), in collaboration with the Gray Research Fund for BRCA-related malignancies, is pleased to offer travel grants of up to $1,500 each to partially support active participation in international conferences, workshops, or courses.

Tel Aviv University graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, medical students, residents, and research associates engaged in cancer-related research are invited to submit applications. Preference will be given to meetings and scientific activities relevant to BRCA-related malignancies; however, applications addressing broader areas of cancer research are also encouraged, in condition that the work to be presented is BRCA-related. Grants are intended to support active participation in meetings held abroad through December 31, 2026.

The entitlement may be extended for up to 6 months from the date of receipt of the award notification for the requested meeting abroad. Depending on the number of applications submitted, grants may be limited to one applicant per meeting and/or laboratory.

Applicants should submit:

  • Short CV (NIH style) - up to 2 pages
  • Letter of recommendation from the supervisor - up to 1 page
  • Research abstract as submitted to the meeting (including title, authors, and affiliations) - up to 1 page
