Tali Ilovitsh, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Tel Aviv University, Israel.
She holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Bar Ilan University, Israel.
Between 2016-2019 she was a postdoctoral researcher at Professor Katherine Ferrara lab, both at University of California Davis and at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she was working in the field of medical ultrasound.
Dr. Ilovitsh lab is focused on the development of noninvasive medical ultrasound technologies for therapy and diagnostics.
In the field of cancer therapy, research interests include the establishment of new therapeutic platforms for nonviral drug and gene delivery, safe blood brain barrier opening, and noninvasive cancer surgery.
