Vered Padler-Karavani established The Laboratory for Glycoimmunology at the Department of Cell Research and Immunology, The Shmunis School of Biomedicine and Cancer Research, at The George S. Wise Faculty of Life Sciences at Tel-Aviv University. Her research combines glycobiology, immunology, bio-nanotechnology and cancer research, and involves cutting edge technologies within these disciplines. The research is currently focused on investigating how immune recognition of certain sugars contribute to cancer and heart diseases and in developing novel diagnostics and therapies for such diseases.
