Prof. Hodak’s main research is dedicated to Cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCLs). CTCLs are a heterogeneous group of malignancies derived from skin-homing T-cells. The most common forms of CTCLs are Mycosis Fungoides (MF) including Sezary Syndrome (SS). The team aims to understand the genetics, cell biology and immunology underlying the development and progression of CTCL along with a search for new drugs and therapeutic modalities.
The field of research in the lab include:
• Genomics and epigenomics in CTCL
• Drugs screening and new treatments for CTCL
• Tumor microenvironment in MF
